BGCDC COMMUNITY FITNESS CENTER POWERED BY PHITNESS PLUS

We are excited about the opening of our brand new community fitness center at the Taft Street location. We will be offering fitness memberships and classes in collaboration with Haywood Simmons’ fitness program, Phitness Plus! Check out the community fitness center hours, membership fees, class schedules, and program descriptions below.

FITNESS CENTER DAYS & HOURS OF OPERATION

The community fitness center will be open daily from 8:30 am through 12:30 am. The fitness center is open to the community and Phitness Plus will be on-site to help you navigate the equipment, develop a fitness plan, and provide information on eating and living healthy.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Monthly Memberships
$5.00/month for 12 months (autopay) for BGCDC members
$2.50/month for 12 months (autopay) for seniors (must use promo code senior to get discount)

CLASS SCHEDULES

Fees for Classes

If you are not a BGCDC member, there is a $5.00 drop in fee. The monthly fee for classes is $60.00/month which includes 3 classes per week (12 classes per month). To enjoy unlimited classes each month, the monthly fee is $110.00/month.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES

FITT Camp (FITT = Functional Introductory Training Techniques)
This class is designed to give you modified, low-impact drills to strengthen your body so you will be able to condition weak areas. You will see immediate results in most areas of your life, including balance, strength, and stability.

CHAMP Camp (CHAMP = Challenge How All Muscles Perform)
This class provides you with all body and sports enhancing workouts that will advance you to the next level. You can expect to improve sports and life performance. Our trainers are skilled at working with mixed populations, from youth to seniors. This is a great class for anyone looking to enhance their overall physical and mental abilities.

Sugar Free Me
This is a 6-week Workshop that helps you understand the health consequences resulting from processed sugar. You will learn how to, mentally and physically, take back your health through sugar free counseling, nutritional coaching, new recipes and recipe makeovers, and support groups. Like any other addiction, quitting sugar can be an emotional journey and commitment, and we will help guide you through that journey. Saturday classes begin April 29th through June 6th from 10:30 am – 11:45 am. Thursday classes begin May 4th through June 8th from 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm.
