Over 500 community volunteers spent more than 7,600 hours tutoring our kids, helping us plan special events, and improving our Club in 2011
BGC was named one of ten Clubs in the nation to receive the Boys & Girls Clubs of America “Be Great: Graduate” award
BGC was able to serve over 25,000 hot, nutritious meals to more than 2,000 kids in 2011
BGC tutors have worked over 10,000 hours in 2011 helping students with their reading, writing, and math skills in small learning communities
BGC has over 40 tutors working in 20 classrooms in five area high schools in partnership with local teachers
In 2011 over 350 teens were able to broaden their horizons and experience campus life on 34 college field trips to 25 colleges and universities
Kids who attended our 2011 summer camp program rose to the challenge of defying “summer learning loss” and read over 2,300 books

BGC has the only youth-charted Boys & Girls Club credit union in the nation. It currently serves more than 481 members

BGC hosts an alternative school and four-year-old kindergarten program in partnership with the Madison Metropolitan School District
95% of our AVID/TOPS class of 2011 are attending college
100% of our AVID/TOPS class of 2011 graduated from high school
