CAPA Dance Instructor
Title: Creative and Performing Arts Dance Instructor
Status: Part-Time
Pay Range: $10 – $12
Hours: 16 hours
The CAPA Mission:
The CAPA Mission: Provide Boys and Girls Club Members with appropriate, creative learning activities and experiences, designed to help them reach their full potential for creative, intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Enable all club members to realize and develop their talents and skills in the creative and performing arts and to teach them how to use these talents to gain an advantage and to function successfully in society.
Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrate and Teach Dance
- Must be able to demonstrate and teach at least four styles of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop)
- Coordinate and choreograph dance segments for large groups and individuals
- Must love working with teens and youth
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years dance experience as a performer
- 2-4 years working with youth development preferred
