CAMPAIGN PURPOSE

We are excited to launch a focused fundraising campaign that spans over a 4 year period with a goal of raising $25 million.

These funds will strengthen our Club, Education, and Workforce programs, while also enabling us to strategically plan for the future needs of the organization.

Traditional Club Needs

$5 million

  • $2.5 M for food
  • $2.5 M for transportation

AVID/TOPS Programming

$15 million

  • $2 M for immediate operating costs
  • $13 M for to endow funds for transportation, positions, and supplies

Workforce programming

$5 million

  • $1 M for current operating costs
  • $2 M for endow scholarships for pre-apprenticeship programs
  • 2 M to endow funds for transportation, food, and supplies

WHY THIS MATTERS

By creating one campaign that
addresses all of our needs we aim to:

  • Streamline our fundraising process
  • Simplify participation for our supporters
  • Ensure sustainability of our Clubs & programs

We will have a major launch once a year
announcing the Build Up BGCDC Campaign
efforts, but fundraising efforts will be year round.

This campaign offers donors the opportunity
to support our impactful programs, while also
contributing to tangible projects like a new
roof for our Fleming Club or an updated gym
for Allied.
