CHAMPS
What is CHAMPS?
CHAMPS, which stands for Careers, Habits, and Mentoring Programs, is for students in grades 6-8. It’s a fun, supportive way to build confidence, explore careers, and learn from mentors who want to help you succeed.
Through hands-on activities and real-world experiences, CHAMPS helps you develop positive habits, try new things, and start planning for your future.
Student Eligibility:
- Must be a middle school student
- Must reside in Dane County
- Must be willing to commit to all mentoring sessions

Become a Mentor!

1:1 and group mentoring, career exploration, networking, field trips, guest speakers, community events and more!
What’s the Commitment?
- Meet and mentor once a week after school on Wednesdays at 5pm.
- Start with a 3-month commitment and continue up to 12 months based on your availability.
- no mentor experience needed!
Our Students Are:
- Middle School MMSD Students.
- Curious, capable young people exploring their strengths and future opportunities.
- Seeking trusted adults to emplower them and prepare them to succeed.
